CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly Men’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday. Second guard for his efforts in the Ball men’s basketball team’s 83-69 victory over Illinois State in the inaugural Indy Classis tournament. Jailin sellers Named MAC Player of the Week.
Sellers scored a career-high 24 points, his fourth 20-or-more effort this season, to lead all scorers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse last Saturday.
In over 35 minutes of action, Sellers went 7-12 from the field, including knocking down all three of his three-point attempts. He also went 7-for-8 from the free throw line, adding four rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block.
The Ball State men’s basketball team returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Georgia Southern at 7:00 pm at Worthen Arena.
