Jay Electronics paid tribute to Mac Miller in a seemingly random moment, sharing with fans that his late collaborator is still on his mind four years after his death.
On Friday (Dec. 23), the “APIDTA” rapper made a rare appearance on Twitter, posting a simple message, “I miss Mac Miller.” The tweet didn’t seem to mention any specific occasion, nor did Jay Electronics offer any afterthoughts or memories of his fallen friend.
The post inspired several fans to share their own grief over the loss of Miller, who died of an accidental drug overdose in 2018.
Among those who joined Jay Electronica in the celebratory moment was Lil B, who responded, “God bless you both – Lil B,” prompting Jay Elec to give the Bay Area MC his own props, writing, “Long Live The Based God.” .
