Tata Elxsi, the design and technology services arm of the Tata Group, has announced that it will expand its technology network in Frankfurt, Germany. The company will open a digital engineering centre/hub in the city to expand its services in the mobility, media and communication and healthcare sectors.
The center will work with manufacturers, European technology companies and academia to develop next-generation software and hardware in areas such as ADAS, e-mobility, chassis electronics, connectivity, cyber security, embedded AI and cloud engineering.
Tata Elxsi AI focuses on the development of digital solutions, Internet of Things (IoT), predictive maintenance and DevOps functions.
The center is expected to host between 30-40 local engineering personnel by the end of the current financial year, with the potential to expand to over 100 engineers by FY2025. The center will be integrated with the global network of Elxsi centres. Located in India, the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom, and will complement the existing European centres.
Shares of Tata Elxsi closed at Rs 6,547 on Thursday, down 1.12 per cent.
