Celebrating the life and message of Pujya Pramukh Swami Ji, Vice Governor emphasized that harmonious human co-existence, compassion, selfless service, honesty, simplicity and equality can help make the world a happier place. a meaningful and peaceful life.
He added that Pujya Pramukh Swami Ji considers the world as one family and spends every moment of his life for the welfare of others.
The Lieutenant Governor noted that the birth centenary of Pujya Swamiji gives us an opportunity to renew our resolve to build an inclusive society.
The Vice-Chancellor said that the world today needs to embrace Pujya Swami Ji’s ideals of equality and compassion so that humanity can overcome differences and work together to create a society without discrimination or discrimination.
The Lt. Governor also spoke about the immense impact of Pujya Pramukh Swamiji’s noble work.
Throughout his life, Pramukh Swamiji worked for the upliftment of the poor, education and empowerment of women. He personally visited more than 2.5 million families to impart wisdom and values ​​to these families, said the Lt. Governor.
Pramukh Swamiji started the campaign for a drug free society and has freed more than 40 million people from this menace. He established more than 9500 Bal-Yuva Sanskar Kendras, more than 9000 male and female satsan centers, 31 educational institutions, 7 multi-specialty hospitals and 11 mobile clinics in rural tribal villages.
Pramukh Swamiji also initiated 1000 youths into a society called Kalyan Mitra. His teachings inspire us to work for the good of society. This will be our true respect and honor to Pujya Swamiji, remarked the Lt. Governor.
