Engineering student Bilal killed near NED University Karachi | Jobs Vox

KARACHI: A budding engineer was killed near Karachi’s NED University by criminals after he resisted a robbery attempt, ARY News reported.

As per details, Bilal, a 21-year-old engineering student, was killed by street criminals who wanted to rob him of his cellphone and other belongings, but as the youth tried to resist the robbery, the robbers shot him, killing him. He died on the spot.

Bilal tried to kill the robbers with a chair as he was with his friends at a tea stall near the university.

The victim was a final year student pursuing petroleum engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology.

According to police officials, the robbers shot Bilal twice in the chest and one in the leg. Bullet shells have also been found at the scene of the incident.

Last week, a youth named Adnan Zuberi was shot dead by armed robbers in Karachi’s PIB Colony.

Adnan Zuberi – who was a bookkeeper in a private firm – had gone outside his house to collect milk when he became a victim of aerial firing by robbers who were fleeing after a robbery in the area.

On Monday, a man was killed by robbers in Mahmudabad area of ​​Karachi for resisting loot.

This week, a man identified as Khurram was shot dead while chasing away robbers in Mahmudabad’s Akhtar Colony. Police said that the incident is being investigated.

The residents of the city are troubled by the failure of the police to stop the increasing incidents of loot in the city.
