“We have already made several circuits for Maa Bhagwati, Shiva, Vishnu, Nava-graha, Golju Maharaj, Nagadevta, Hanuman and Vivekananda. There is another main idea we are working on. Officials said it would not take much time to cover the entire circuit, with the plan being to attract tourists from neighboring states such as Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, who could travel over the weekend.

“Tourists want something new. Every place in Uttarakhand is beautiful but we have to add something as points of attraction and few activities. With this circuit, we plan to achieve the same,” the official said.

BJP spokesperson Shadab Shams welcomed the move, calling Modi “the biggest brand in the state”. His name can benefit tourism in the state and should be welcomed, he said.
