Reserved category employees are protesting at the BJP office

JAMMU, Dec 22: Senior BJP leader and former MP Devinder Singh Rana today clarified that the policy of transfer of reserved category workers posted in the Kashmir Valley will be done as per Lt Governor Manoj Sinha’s promise.
Addressing the Reserved Category workers marching in front of BJP headquarters Trikuta Nagar here today, Rana said they will not allow any person belonging to any community in Jammu to be a “guinea pig”.
“This is our moral duty and we will not go back on our word,” he said, adding, “All the leaders who came to meet the protesting workers, including former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta, former minister, BJP vice president, Sham Lal Sharma, former minister. and BJP General Secretary Dr. DK Manyal stand by their word and promise that the transfer policy will be implemented in line with the LG’s promise in this regard.
Rana said in an emotional voice, “If our sisters cry, there is no pleasure in being here. This is not politics, don’t think of yourself as a week,” he added, assuring the protesting workers that the BJP would implement the transfer policy.
Hundreds of reserved category personnel from Jammu, who had previously served in the Kashmir Valley, staged a massive demonstration in front of the BJP headquarters here. The protesters, including male and female workers, shouted slogans in support of their demands.
The protesters held slogans in their hands and demanded the fulfillment of the vice president’s promises. They wanted the BJP leaders to come out of their offices and reiterate their assurance to the workers that they would get the transfer policy for reserved category workers who have become safe targets of militants in the Kashmir Valley after their colleagues were shot. in front of his office.
The crying women workers took the government and BJP leaders to task for not trying to resolve their issues. They had a heated discussion with Kavinder Gupta, who also assured that they would take up their issues with the Union government.
The protesting workers said why the party failed to convince the government in the past seven months and why the workers’ salaries for seven months have not been paid to this day. They also wanted to know how the LG took this decision without giving it to the audience and what the party was doing during this period.
