The Android 13 system update will come to these LG phones early next year | Jobs Vox

South Korean brand LG closed its mobile phone business last year. This comes after a series of losses in the mobile phone market. The company first exited China’s very tough mobile phone market. However, it left the mobile phone market globally. Despite the release, the company has promised to take care of the device for a certain period of time. True to its promise, LG is now rolling out updates for some devices. Android OS updates for the LG Velvet and LG Wing will be available early next year.

March 15 of this year LG Velvet receives Android 12 update In South Korea. According to LG’s official post, the company will begin rolling out Android 13 to the LG Velvet in the first quarter of 2023. In addition, the LG Wing has completed three major version updates as part of its plans for this new year. However, LG has not officially mentioned the LG V60 and we hope to receive the Android 13 update at some point.

LG Velvet and LG Wing will get Android 13 in Q1 2023

Two mobile phones, LG Wing and LG Velvet, were launched in 2020. LG is officially planning to roll out the Android 13 update to both phones.

LG Wing

LG Wing uses two screens. The primary display is a 6.8-inch 2460 x 1080 OLED display, while the secondary display is a 3.9-inch 1240 x 1080 OLED display. On the back is a 64MP (f / 1.8) main camera + 13MP (f / 1.9 117° FOV) ultra-wide-angle lens + 12MP (f / 2.2 120°) ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32MP lens on the front. The device packs a 4,000mAh battery, IP54 water and dust resistance, supports under-display fingerprint recognition, and more.

The LG Velvet uses a 6.8-inch FHD+ display with a Snapdragon 765G chipset. The battery capacity of this device is 4300 mAh. On the back, there is a triple camera setup including a 48-megapixel primary camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP lens for selfies. The device also supports an under-display fingerprint sensor and is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
