Tech Mahindra is among two Indian business entities that have joined the Global Declaration on Climate Lobbying, an idea that is new to India. Active lobbying by powerful industry associations has often slowed or blocked progress on Paris-aligned climate policies. The goal of climate lobbying is to encourage climate action in business, not to delay pro-climate decisions for the sake of profit.
