NV5 Global (Nasdaq: NVEE) has agreed To earn Commercial Geospatial Technology and Software Businesses L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX).

NV5 said Thursday that the all-cash transaction for the visual information solutions business of L3Harris is expected to close in the first half of 2023.

Founded in 1977, VIS has approximately 150 employees and provides software applications and analytics-as-a-service offerings that are used by the Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies to analyze hyperspectral and satellite-based radar data .

Florida-based NV5 – which provides technology, conformance assessment and consulting support to clients in the public and private sectors – for geospatial data analysis, real-time weather monitoring, imaging and situational awareness and software applications for trademarks such as Viss would receive 16 US patents.
