Swimming Australia and Tech Mahindra Strike partnership to empower high performance athletes | Jobs Vox

Swimming Australia on Friday announced an innovative partnership with Tech Mahindra to empower high-performance athletes with data-driven insights ahead of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

Tech Mahindra — a provider of digital transformation, consulting and business reengineering services and solutions — will join Australia’s premier Olympic and Paralympic sport as an official technology partner.

The company, which is also investing significantly in Australia’s digital and data capabilities, will provide technical support in all aspects of the national governing body, including high performance, participation, fan engagement and administration.

Tech Mahindra’s expertise, coupled with Swimming Australia’s desire to be data-driven, will equip coaches and athletes with sporting insights ahead of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Athletes will be able to take advantage of new-age technologies and advanced platform services to improve their game and ensure an engaging fan experience.

The company’s next-generation digital engagement platform will help Team Swimming Australia drive hyper-personalised, data-driven fan experiences using cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR), among others.

Swimming Australia CEO Eugenie Buckley believes the new partnership reflects swimming’s status in the sporting landscape and will help its continued growth and development over this next decade of opportunities.
