Our Senior Engineering Managers are looking to provide opportunities for dynamic individuals at various stages of their careers to join our friendly and supportive team of Nuclear Safety Engineers. This team manages the ongoing security of the UK’s nuclear deterrent and you will play a vital role in supporting UK national security!

To whom will you be responsible and accountable?

  • Writes technical evaluations and reports at a system, component and material level related to warhead design.

  • Managing delivery for time and quality

  • Organization of evidence into coherent, concise security submissions to client and regulator

  • applying analysis techniques, tools and methods to all phases of the design lifecycle

  • Providing guidance to the wider engineering and production teams

  • Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders on system design and validation

  • Managing conflicting priorities and perspectives

  • Outreach and support wider business initiatives as required as part of the engineering programme, ie through presentations at external conferences/symposia

Candidates must be a UK citizen and prepared to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the role. Occasional international travel will be available as part of the role. On-site office work required due to access to classified information.
