Educational Qualification Post Qualification Experience:
A) Assistant Engineer (Civil) Posts:
In possession of Junior Engineer (Civil) working in IIT (ISM), Dhanbad
a) Regular full time 03- Year Diploma – 6 in the Grade (Pre-revised Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200).
b) Experience of working in MS Office and other computer software relevant to the work/specialization domain.
Desired:
a) Experience in construction and maintenance of buildings, roads, water supply, drainage works etc. after completing the degree/diploma.
b) Working knowledge on Computer and Auto Cad.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) Posts:
In possession of Junior Engineer (Electrical) working in IIT (ISM), Dhanbad
a) Regular full time 03 years in Electrical Engineering with minimum 55% marks from any recognized University/ Institute with relevant experience of 03 years working as Junior Engineer (Electrical) at IIT (ISM), Dhanbad in revised pay Level-6 in the one-year Diploma grade (Pre-revised Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200).
b) Experience of working in MS Office and other computer software relevant to the work/specialization domain.
Desired:
a) Experience in a) Electrical maintenance and project execution of works related to HT/LT power distribution including internal electrical installations, sub-station and power factor management, water pumping systems, street lighting, etc.; Design estimation, tendering and billing of electrical works;
b) Bureau of Energy Efficiency Certified Energy Manager/ Energy Auditor;
c) Experience in lighting design;
d) Experience in handling and maintaining electrical services;
e) Knowledge of computer applications
Selection Process for IIT (ISM) Recruitment 2022
The selection process to the Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical) posts notified as per IIT (ISM) Recruitment 2022, will be done in compliance with the provisions stated in “Cadre Structure and Recruitment Rules and Promotion Policy” for Non-Teaching Posts. Available on the IIT (ISM) website of IIT (ISM) and relevant Government Rules.
The Controller of Examinations will conduct a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination consisting of a Single Paper Test with 02 parts for 100 marks:
Part I: Written Test for 80 Marks
Part II: Computer Proficiency Test / Trade Test for 20 marks
