Mc Jones isn’t the flashiest dresser in the world, with Matthew Judon once calling his fashion choices a “lost cause”. The quarterback can usually be spotted in New England Patriots gear or apparel from his sponsor, NOBULL.
But when it comes to the holiday season, Jones is willing to splurge a little. how much Seems like enough to support the matching pajama idea.
Patriots-Bengals anti-analysis (Sunday 16)
I’m not here to analyze the Patriots game this Saturday. It’s like a real job Chris Mason, Mark Daniels or More Vouture would do (suckers). Instead, I’m here to point out 5-10 observations and general tidbits that have at least a tangential connection to Saturday’s game.
Mack Jones and his dog have matching pajamas
Jones appeared on WEEI’s “Merloni, Fauria & Mego” show last week to weigh in on common football topics. But before the quarterback kicked off, the co-hosts had one final question: What are Jones’ thoughts on matching pajamas for the holidays?
“I think it’s cool,” Jones said.
The sophomore said her family has made matching pajamas in the past. It wasn’t his idea, but he was just going with the flow of things.
“Everyone is different. I think it’s fun. Why not?” Jones said.
what about today Jones was spotted in an Instagram photo last year wearing pajamas with his girlfriend, Sophie Scott.
Does Jones have a matching set for her dog, Rose?
“Yes,” the quarterback confirmed.
Matching PJs didn’t make it onto either Jones’ or Scott’s social media channels this year. But it’s only a few days until Christmas, so stay tuned.
Do the Patriots have a good breakfast? “Hell right, says Bill Belichick
MassLive’s Chris Mason asked Belichick on Wednesday about what he saw from the team that week — since the Patriots had yet to practice.
Belichick reported exactly what he saw:
“What did I see from them? We talked about the game on Monday and moved on to Cincinnati. We are working on Cincinnati today. They entered and had breakfast. I saw them having breakfast. I saw them in the meeting room. Everyone went to individual meetings. Take bathroom breaks and drug testing. Go back and proceed to the next meeting. I mean, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Mason’s follow-up question: Was breakfast good?
“Yeah right.”
Name of the week: Running back Chris Evans
No, he’s not the actor who plays Captain America.
But here’s the thing: Evans is just one of a few names on the Bengals’ roster that Patriots fans might find out.
Cincinnati also has a receiver named Stanley Morgan Jr., who is not related to former Patriots receiver Stanley Morgan.
So is safety Michael Thomas — who is not the New Orleans Saints receiver of the same name.
Be careful if you hear Tre Flowers’ name during the game. He’s a Cincinnati cornerback, not former Patriots defensive end Trey Flowers.
However, there is Elijah Holyfield, who is the son of famous former heavyweight boxer Evander Holyfield.
“Is he on that team now?” Player of the Week: TE Devin Asiasi
A third-round pick by the Patriots in 2020, Asias never pitched in New England, leading to his release at the end of this year’s training camp.
At the beginning of the season, the Bengals won the rejection of Asia. However, it still does not have a significant impact on the offense.
Oddly enough, Asiasi has more touchdowns (1) this season than he has receptions (0) this season with Cincinnati. This year he scored twice in 11 matches.
Charity of the Week: Holiday Season Edition
Each week this season, the Patriots are promoting a different charitable effort to highlight the work they do off the field. Charity doesn’t get enough coverage, so let’s take a moment to check. This week, here’s a roundup of all the holiday-related events the Patriots and player foundations are putting on:
On Tuesday, the Patriots held their 29th annual holiday party at Gillette Stadium. The event welcomed “over 200 kids from The Salvation Army and area community centers” as they ate pizza, played games and then decorated Patriots players, fans and Pat Patriot like Christmas trees. Contributors included Matthew Slater, Jahlani Tavai, Nick Faulk and Brendan Schooler.
