JAMMU, Dec 22: Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha’s statement against the protest of reserve and special portfolio officers is unfortunate and shows the high-level attitude of the Union Territory administration where no one listens to the real issues in the government. of protesting workers.
This was announced by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state chief spokesperson and state media regulatory committee chief Jagdeep Singh while addressing a press conference today. In a media interview yesterday, he was referring to the J&K LG’s remark that he was “sitting at home without salary”.
Jagdeep said that this statement is not a high-minded attitude of the J&K government run by bureaucrats who do not care about the plight of the common man of J&K, but everything is being done in a dictatorial mode and only propaganda policy is being implemented.
He reminded the J&K LG that these workers are not sitting at home but are marching dharna on the roads and the LG administration is responsible for this chaos.
The senior AAP leader dismissed the workers protesting against the J&K Government and said that these workers are not demanding anything from this planet, but their demands are simple and straightforward and aimed at ensuring human life and safety.
“This is a sensitive issue related to the lives of these workers, but unfortunately, the government is not only looking the other way, but the J&K UT chairman is issuing a statement that will have more impact on the workers, which shows that the government is not even an inch sensitive to the issue of the number of workers,” Jagdeep said. .
He also asked the Bhartiya Janta Party to treat these workers with a humanitarian spirit and said that it is high time the BJP sticks to its slogans targeting Kashmiri Pandits and reserved class workers.
