A new counter-depth design is offered to help consumers create a more stylish kitchen with a refrigerator that sits alongside the cabinetry. large capacity, simple yet elegant design, mirrored InstaView panel and invisible pocket handle. The company’s new 25.5-cubic-foot counter-depth refrigerator is nine percent less deep than a typical French door model, but still has generous capacity.1 To increase internal storage space, LG has reduced the thickness of several key components of the refrigerator, such as cold air ducts and evaporators, and improved insulation. Although its spacious interior offers 25 percent more food and beverage storage space than previous LG models.2 New French doors are still useful for saving space in the kitchen due to their small size.
The new model brings a simple yet sophisticated aesthetic to the kitchen thanks to LG’s unique mirror-InstaView panel and flat door design. Surrounded by shiny stainless steel, mirrored glass covers almost the entire right-hand side of the refrigerator door. Users can check in without opening the door with just two taps on the panel, saving time, preventing cold air from escaping and wasting energy. The sleek, minimalist beauty and clean, modern lines of LG’s latest InstaView are enhanced by a separate pocket handle mounted on the refrigerator’s “flat” door.
In addition, the new French door refrigerator can create four types of ice: square ice, crushed ice, LG’s exclusive, slow-melting round craft ice, and the new mini cube ice. Helping to keep drinks cool, LG’s mini ice cubes are a great addition to juices, sodas or cocktails. With four frozen options, consumers can choose the ice style that best suits their needs, beverage or occasion.
Built with LG’s latest technology, the new refrigerator helps preserve ingredients for longer and maintain the hygiene of the built-in water dispenser. The company’s exclusive LinearCooling™ technology reduces temperature fluctuations, allowing food to stay fresh for up to a week in the refrigerator.3 At the same time, DoorCooling+™ works faster than conventional cooling systems4 helps keep food fresh and drinks colder on every shelf. Plus, LG’s UVnano™ technology keeps the refrigerator’s water dispenser clean and reduces bacteria on the faucet by 99.99 percent.5
