December 14, 2022 — Presenting forward-looking solutions for healthcare providers and medical professionals, LG Business Solutions USA introduces three innovative radiology models currently in development. These products are not currently available in the United States.
At RSNA 2022, the Radiological Society of North America’s annual conference, LG is showing off a prototype 32-inch diagnostic display that includes an 8-megapixel IPS display with 1,000 nits of brightness and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio. Advanced features include an integrated front-facing sensor and backlight sensor, as well as an anti-glare display, three-way tilt/height/rotation adjustment, built-in calibration software, and an exclusive “Display Manager” that enables on-board controls. 17 languages for on-screen menus and tools.
LG is showing off its largest surgical display ever, a 55-inch 4K IPS display with 650 nits of brightness. The monitor will feature flexible installation options, anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coatings, multiple inputs and outputs with a 178-degree viewing angle, and seek IP45 (front) and IP32 (rear) certifications to set the level of protection. against liquid and solid foreign bodies.
LG’s third model on display is a 14-inch, portable, battery-powered digital X-ray detector that can connect wirelessly to a computer. Features include built-in automatic exposure control that provides a readout of the total radiation received and automatic shutdown when a certain threshold is reached.
