Srinagar, December 15: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Thursday held a request meeting with various trade associations, hotel and restaurant owners and other stakeholders regarding the recently issued order no. Detailed discussion of SO 668 Revenue Department dated 9th December 2022 issued by Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a KCCI statement, the delegates expressed their dismay at the said order and spoke about the negative impact it would have on the livelihood and employment of the people of J&K.

KCCI president Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad assured the delegates that the government would take up the issue at the highest level.

Moreover, President Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad urged Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary J&K to look into the matter carefully so that the livelihood of the people is not affected.
