Channeling a nautical vibe, the Duchess wore a classic navy blue sweater with white nautical stripes which she paired with white linen shorts and a pair of white sneakers. Keeping it simple yet stylish, she opted for gold earrings and minimal makeup to round off the look.

The Duchess looked ready for action as she quickly changed into an official GBR wetsuit and gray cap and joined Sir Ben Ainslie, the most successful sailor in Olympic history, and the rest of the Great Britain crew.

At the event, Kate also met with young people who participated in the 1851 Trust’s activities to promote sustainability, according to People magazine. The team learned about seagrass as one of the most important natural tools in combating harmful changes in our climate.
