Mc Jones takes it from every angle.
On Tuesday, the sophomore quarterback was blasted by Patriots Hall of Famer Vince Wilfork for a rash of emotional outbursts in the game.
“I’m tired of it,” Wilfork said during an appearance on NBC Sports Boston.
A few hours later, fellow New England legend Julian Edelman called out Jones for failing to make a game-saving hit on Chandler Jones at the end of Sunday’s disastrous road trip to the Las Vegas Raiders.
“The season is ready,” Edelman said on a recent “Inside NFL” episode. ββ¦ you have to lose it.β
Co-host Brandon Marshall then said teams don’t practice in situations like this. Edelman used the comment as an opportunity to take Jones to task for his controversial game-day behavior.
“He doesn’t practice all the tricks after the game, he doesn’t take the coaches and all those little sly faces and stuff,” Edelman said. βHe doesn’t practice it and he does it. Why can’t he cope?”
