Julian Edelman did not hold back in criticizing Mc Jones | Jobs Vox

Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman didn’t mince words when talking about Patriots quarterback Mack Jones’ emotions over the past few games.

Jones is becoming more animated on the field, something Patriots legends and fans alike have noticed. The quarterback has endured criticism over the past week as the Patriots head toward the finish line of the 2022 regular season.

Edelman added his own thoughts to the topic and did not hold back. Jones has struggled this season, throwing just seven touchdowns to eight interceptions. On Sunday, he drew worldwide attention for failing to tackle Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones as the latter returned an interception for a touchdown.

Edelman appeared on Inside NFL on Tuesday. He enthusiastically played the stalking game, as did Jones’ demeanor overall, as downloaded by Dakota Randall of NESN.com.

“The season is ready,” Edelman said recently Inside the NFL episode. “… you have to lose it. …He doesn’t practice all the tricks after the game and he doesn’t take the coaches away and all these little sly faces and stuff. He doesn’t practice it and he does it. Why can’t he cope?”

Jones will look for a return game on Saturday when New England hosts the Cincinnati Bengals. The quarterback, like the rest of the offense, needs to be firing on all cylinders to make the playoffs less likely.
