I am calling on the government. to get the relevant authorities on board

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Hotel Club and Chambers of Commerce and Industry have asked Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene in the recent lease expiry order of the leased property.

In a statement to The Dispatch, the JKHC and CCIK said, “We, the interested parties (tenants) of J&K, kindly intervene and respond to the concerned authorities immediately on the recent expiry of leases issued by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of J&K.” Negotiate this matter with the concerned lease holders and explore possible options in economic interest otherwise business and economic sector across J&K will come to a standstill.

“If this direction is implemented, many small, medium and large businesses, shopkeepers and other commercial establishments across J&K will be seriously affected. We request the Hon’ble Lt. Governor to consider the wider implications of this order,” the statement said.

We the stakeholders of J&K have high hopes and expectations from our Honorable Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha. We are confident that justice will be done to all stakeholders in J&K. otherwise Jammu and Kashmir UT will suffer more economically. Therefore, as shareholders, we are all sons of the soil, so please approach this issue from a human and personal perspective.
