Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level meeting on preparations for the 2023 G20 Summit in Jammu and Kashmir.
Calling for extensive preparations ahead of the G20 meeting, Manoj Sinha said the meetings under the Indian presidency are an opportunity to share the achievements of Jammu and Kashmir and showcase its rich cultural heritage. Therefore, he urged students and educational institutions to be involved in the successful organization of this event.
The Vice Governor directed the Department of Higher Education to organize seminars on G20 issues in universities and educational institutions of universities.
Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, General Secretary; Additional Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Production, Dologi Atal; R.K. Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs; RR Swain, Special DG CID; Administrative Secretaries; Heads of departments, police, civil administration organizations participated in the meeting in person and via video conference and shared their opinions.
