Stamford, Conn.–(business telegram)– Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, has commissioned a research study to examine the digital engineering services that have enabled a growing number of enterprises to develop and run products. support has been extended.

The results of the study will be published in a comprehensive ISG Provider Lens™ report, called Digital Engineering Services, scheduled for release in April 2023. More companies are using digital engineering services as competitive pressures force them to develop and release new products more quickly and at less cost. These requirements have increased the adoption of virtual prototyping to reduce risk in development, while digitization is transforming every step of the value chain, from product inception to manufacturing, testing and aftermarket services.

“As technology and customer needs change rapidly, enterprises need a predictable and controllable product lifecycle,” said Jan Erik Aas, partner and global leader at ISG provider Lens Research. “The services that enable digital engineering transformation are making it possible.”

ISG has distributed surveys to approximately 60 providers. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce four quadrants representing the digital engineering services specific enterprises are purchasing, based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. There are four quadrilaterals:
