International conference on civil engineering will start from tomorrow in CUET | Jobs Vox

MD Bashir Jeesan, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, CUET, read a written statement at a press conference on Monday at the 6th International Conference on Advances in Civil Engineering held at Engineer Abdul Khaliq Auditorium, Chittagong Press Club. – Press release

The Department of Civil Engineering, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology in association with the University Grants Commission organized the 6th International Conference on Advances in Civil Engineering (ICACE) 2022 from tomorrow.

Five prominent speakers from Bangladesh, India, Japan and the United States and more than 200 academicians and researchers from different parts of the world will participate in the two-day conference.

The conference is going to organize 16 technical sessions for presentation of total 151 research papers and 4 key-note sessions by 4 keynote speakers from Civil Engineering.

On this occasion, a press conference was organized at Engineer Abdul Khaliq Auditorium of Chittagong Press Club on Monday.

Conference Secretary and Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering Mohammad Bashir Jeesan read a written statement at the press conference. Lecturer Mohd Asifur Rahman and Assistant Director of Civil Engineering Mohd Rashidul Islam were also present.

Mohammad Alamgir, Member, UGC will be the chief guest while Mohammad Rafiqul Alam, Vice Chancellor, CUET will be the guest of honor on the occasion.

MD Mainul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Civil Engineering will be the special guest. The inauguration ceremony will be presided over by Asiful Haque, Head of Civil Engineering Department.

Emeritus Professor M Shamim Z Basunia, Asia Pacific University, will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the conference on Thursday, with CUET Vice-Chancellor Mohammad Rafiqul Alam as the guest of honour.

Swapan Kumar Palit, chairman of the scientific and technical committee of the conference, will preside over the closing ceremony.

The entire program including the opening and closing ceremonies of the conference will be held at the Sheikh Kamal Business Incubator at CUET. The conference is sponsored by GPH Steel.
