The year 2023 has the potential to provide the impetus the country needs to become digitally ready and lead technological advancements for the rest of the world, Tech Mahindra said on Tuesday.
Driven by India’s promising growth map, 2023 has the potential to provide the impetus the country needs to become digitally ready and lead technological advancements that the rest of the world needs to follow, said Jagdish Mitra, Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Development at Tech Mahindra .
“In 2023, I believe we will see significant advances in autonomous systems, 5G and green technology, as well as a quantum leap in technology skills towards digital transformation skills,” he predicts.
According to Mr. Mitra, with digitization sweeping the world, these new technology trends will define ‘Techade’ and put India on the map as a technology superpower.
“India has the potential to take the lead in technological innovation, and 2023 will see a continued push towards sustainable progress, supported by emerging trends in sustainable technology,” he said.
Furthermore, the adoption of Industry 4.0 has strengthened the supply chain ecosystem, transformed manufacturing and instilled resilience in business operations, he added.
Artificial intelligence, for example, has become a reality in businesses, and other technologies such as the metaverse, blockchain, robotics and digital twins are expected to follow suit in the coming years, he added.
