Flashback Friday: From Priyanka Chopra to Kriti Sanon, divas keep it bright and bold

Bollywood stars are always ready to experiment and make unconventional choices when it comes to their sartorial choices. And that’s how fashion really works — there are no written rules, it’s all about experimentation and excellence to bring out the best in you. This week our favorite stars did just that.

As we bring you the weekly round-up, we must tell you that our Bollywood divas are not only redefining power dressing but also giving a twist and a modern touch to the traditional attire to make it more attractive and trendy.

Topping the list this week is Desi Girl, who is currently on a short trip to India. Making a splash with her picks, Priyanka redefined power dressing in a western-style pantsuit with heavy embroidery. The full sleeve pantsuit comes with a floral design embellished with various flowers and leaves on a black color base. The 40-year-old styled the outfit with a pair of earrings, a messy high ponytail and a statement necklace.

Huma Qureshi, who is known for taking risks, looked fierce in an orange pantsuit. A full-sleeved plunging bodycon blazer was paired with wide-leg pants. The actor teamed it up with strappy nudes and a pair of earrings. Going for a brief look, Huma lets her outfit take over.

You can never go wrong with a saree and Kriti Shannon’s latest traditional look will make you want to wear it more. Kriti drape has abstract red, yellow and black prints on white base. The actor paired the saree with a black and white striped tube blouse. Keeping the accessories minimal, Kriti styled the look with a stack of black and white bangles on one hand. Hair in a messy ponytail and dewy makeup finished off her look.

While Kriti opted for abstract prints, Nusrat Bharuchcha looked beautiful in a fuchsia pink saree. She oozed glamor in a plain saree with a lace border cleverly teamed with a matching plunging blouse. For the glam quotient, the diva styled it with a chunky neckpiece and matching bracelets.

Another actor who rocked the traditional look was Swara Bhaskar who rocked a red kurta on set. The kurta with white embroidery on both sides of the dress was teamed with matching straight-fit pants that also have embroidery on the sides. She styled it with a silk overcoat and gold-toned neckpiece. For makeup, Swara opted for a dewy look with nude lips and side swept hair.
