This could be Michael Pittman’s week to beat the awful Vikings secondary.
This is the first time I come to you with a hat in my hand. Last week I took a victory lap for Imperfect Predictions…and it was wrong. I am sorry. It just is Three Out of the four predictions, I was very close to the perfect spicy picantake.
Rookie TE Chig Okonkwo was the TE3 in Week 14 with six receptions and a touchdown, but totaled just 45 receiving yards (not 100).
The Denver Broncos scored a season-high 28 points to cover the spread against the Kansas City Chiefs. Still, Jerry Jewry’s career record was in fantasy points at 33.30 (with WR1 Justin Jefferson), not in receiving yards. He fell short of his 140-yard projection with 73 on the field goal Three touch
Jared Goff threw three touchdown passes and the Detroit Lions won by 11 to cap their remarkable 2.5-point lead over the Vikings 10-2, but my prediction was 20 yards too ambitious. He put 330 yards instead of 350.
The Carolina Panthers passed for 220 yards and two touchdowns in a road win against the Seahawks, but D’Onta Foreman had just 74 yards on 21 carries and couldn’t find the end zone.

Michael Pittman scores 25 PPR points as Colts go for 30 points and blow Vikings by a touchdown
The Vikings aren’t as good as their record would have us believe, plain and simple. They exposed teams that play physical football. Dallas blew them to pieces early, and they folded like lawn chairs before halftime. Detroit controlled the line of scrimmage and lit up the scoreboard through the air against this vulnerable Vikings secondary. Matt Ryan has certainly shown his age this season in Indianapolis, but there is reason to be optimistic that he will have a strong game against the Vikings.
His best WR, Michael Pittman, is certainly due for a back-to-back performance. He has just two WR1 appearances this season and none since Week 6. He played pretty well against a weak defense, which certainly describes how the Vikings are playing at the moment. Jeff Saturday may not be a true coach, but the Colts have enough talent on both sides of the ball to impose their will on the rampaging Vikes.
Travis Etienne Goes Ballistic With 120 Scrimmage Yards and a Touchdown; Jaguars upset Cowboys in Jacksonville
The Dallas Cowboys probably weren’t so obviously convinced that this stretch against the Texans and Jaguars would be a piece of cake when the schedule was released. The “any week” mantra certainly played out dramatically when it took a 98-yard drive late in the game to beat the NFL’s worst team last week. The Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t a winning football team, but they just finished blowing the doors off a team with playoff aspirations.
Travis Etienne has been quiet in the fantasy realm lately. He hasn’t rushed for more than 54 yards since Week 9 against the Raiders. Dallas is the fourth best in defense at the RB position, but there’s a pain in my gut that says Etienne will deliver on that defense. The focus will rightly be on red-hot Trevor Lawrence, who has been quietly QB8 for the season. It would go really far if the Jags finally Their dynamic open field running backs got involved in the passing game. He has yet to catch more than three passes in a game, which borders on the margin of error with his skill set. This game will likely feature a lot of scoring on both sides of the ball, but my confidence in the Cowboys is quickly dwindling as we head into January.
Mac Jones Falls Flat Versus Raiders With Three Turnovers and Zero Touchdowns; Las Vegas crushed New England by double digits
I can’t physically watch the Patriots offense anymore. It makes me terribly sick. Matt Patricia has zero Business runs an offense at any level, especially overseeing the development of a QB drafted in the first round. Route concepts do not match drop. The protective circuits are spoiled by the exotic appearance. Mack Jones starter Ramondre Stevens injured his ankle on Monday night and Devante Parker has a concussion. Damien Harris and Jakobi Meyers are also questionable for Week 15. I seriously doubt New England’s ability to score punch-for-punch with Derek Carr and the Raiders offense.
The Raiders don’t have a strong defense, but their pass rush is a nuisance with Max Crosby and Chandler Jones. Las Vegas is one of the most disappointing teams in its own right. They beat winning teams like the Seahawks and Chargers, but got blown out by the Jaguars and completely fell apart in primetime against Baker Mayfield and the Rams. The biggest factor in the Raiders winning football games was the inclusion of Davante Adams in the game plan. When Adams is the focus, the Raiders win. When he is not there, they lose. Adams only one target In the second half of the Rams game (the final Hail Mary game). He’s sure to get the festering treatment with a battered Patriots secondary. Thus, the Raiders will win.
Derrick Henry rushes for 200+ yards and three touchdowns, but Chargers outlast Titans in thriller
This game intrigues me. The usually reliable Titans were blown away by the Jaguars last week, while the often shaky Chargers looked fantastic in their win over the Dolphins. As fate would have it, Derrick Henry draws one of the weakest defenses in the NFL this week. He was on his way to a monster performance against Jacksonville, but was held to just two rushing yards after halftime. There’s no doubt he’ll have an easy ride in this matchup, but Tennessee’s pass defense is going to be absolutely barbecued by Justin Herbert. For the first time this season, Oregon’s star QB received a full compliment of receiving weapons against Miami. He was incredible, even as his offensive line routinely allowed the Dolphins pass rush and heated him up.
This game will be between two teams on the playoff bubble who will be trading haymakers away from their star players. King Henry escapes; I imagine some separatist touches. Herbie will throw it all over the yard to Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler will throw the scrimmage against the defense. I don’t know if this will be the highest scoring game, but I feel like it will be the most fun to watch on TV.
