Engineering Provides 138 Degrees in Winter Start | Jobs Vox

The College of Engineering conferred 138 degrees at the university’s Winter 2022 commencement ceremony on December 10, 2022, at the Lawler Events Center: 85 bachelor’s, 33 master’s and 20 doctoral degrees.

Engineering Dean Eric Jones said before the ceremony, “We are proud of our engineering graduates and we wish them success in their future endeavors.” “Congratulations, graduate, on this important achievement.”

Other graduation activities at the college including the Order of the Engineer ceremony on 9 December and a breakfast on 10 December.

Thirty-seven students and Dean Jones participated in Engineer’s order The ceremony, which consists of publicly acknowledging an engineer’s obligation, is a formal statement of public and professional ethics and responsibilities, similar to the Hippocratic Oath of medical professionals.

Winter graduates came from all five college departments: Chemical and Materials Engineering; Civil and Environmental Engineering; computer science and engineering; Electrical and Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
