Eleven flashes earn academic all-MAC honors | Jobs Vox

cleveland – The Kent State field hockey team had eleven student-athletes named to the 2022 Academic All-MAC Team, the Mid-American Conference announced.

Academic All-MAC recognition is for a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics during their collegiate career. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.

In all, 80 of the conference’s student-athletes earned Academic All-MAC recognition.

Kent State’s All-MAC honorees are:

The Kent State field hockey team achieved academic success on the playing field, finishing 6-1 in conference play and capturing the MAC regular season championship for the second consecutive season before falling to App State in the MAC Tournament semifinals.
