Eight were named to the Academic All-MAC Team for women’s soccer | Jobs Vox

Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2022 Women’s Soccer Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 125 student-athletes were named to this year’s national team, including 8 Bobcats.
The Academic All-MAC award is given to a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.

Samantha Veksel, 5th, Psychology, 3.692 GPA7. Aubrey RheaJunior, Finance, 3.514 GPA8. Kennedy RipleyJunior, Communication Studies, 3.34 GPA

Ball State led the way with 15 student-athletes on this year’s team. Toledo and Western Michigan each had 14 honorees, while Bowling Green had 13 student-athletes represented. Ohio stood strong in the middle with 8 outstanding student-athletes.
