New Delhi [India]December 14 (ANI): Lt. Governor V.K. Saxena on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting to review preparations ahead of the G20 summit and other related events in Delhi.

Encouraging citizen participation and youth participation in cities to improve road and sanitation enforcement, G-20 marathons, weekend social events, Twitter/Instagram promotions, decorated autos/rickshaws, subways, buses, etc. including organizing events. , essay writing, debates, art and photography contests, wall expressions on G-20 topics, model G-20 discussions, and more.
The summit document will capture lessons and experiences for future generations revolving around G-20 themes such as ‘Vasudhaive Kutumbakam’ and ‘Athiti Devobhava’, and ensure branding and communication exercises, the release added.
Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot has said that all necessary steps for procurement of electric buses and branding of public transport will be completed in time.
In his closing remarks, Saxena reiterated that the G-20 summit was an important milestone that should be used to change the face of the national capital for a long time.
He described the work as ensuring architectural and aesthetic cohesion between Kartavya Road (Central Vista), where most visitors travel, and other areas such as the Convention Center at Pragati Maidan.
He also highlighted the need for increasing 5G network in and around the summit venue, increasing hotels especially in NDMC area, introduction of double decker buses on limited roads and operation of Hop on Hop off (HoHo) buses. . (ANI)
