Delhi LG VK Saxena on Wednesday sought details of the West Delhi police commissioner in the acid attack case, including how it was obtained despite the ban on the sale of acid.

A 17-year-old girl was attacked with acid by two motorcycle-borne men near west Delhi’s Uttam Nagar on Wednesday morning. The girl, Safdarjung, was admitted to the hospital, where doctors said she suffered burns to 7-8 percent of her face and damage to her eyes.
