Working in the aviation aerial delivery sector for over 30 years, Mark has built up a vast network of knowledge and a proven track record of experiences alongside an exceptional global customer delivery portfolio.
As a military professional in the UK’s Ministry of Defense (MoD), he held a number of positions in the aerial delivery sector, including; Operators, trainers, operations officers and trade examiners are also completing exchange postings and qualifying on NATO and Five-I allied airdrop systems. His 24 years of service culminated with 3 years as Lead Trial Officer within the Joint Aerial Delivery Trial Evaluation Unit (JADTEU), part of the Air Warfare Center. While at JADTEU, he led and managed several high-profile projects including the first airdrop from an A400M aircraft in support of the Airbus Certification Program. In addition, he sat as a Subject Matter Expert on the Cabin Safety Cargo Hold Panel for the A400M, which included evaluating design proposals submitted by Airbus. For this, and in particular for keeping the A400M program operationally focused, Mark was recognized in the 2015 Queen’s New Year’s Honors List and awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
Transitioning to industry following his military service, Mark held the position of Post Design Services (PDS) engineering lead within IrwinGQ for all of their airdrop systems and led customer acceptance and training serials across the business portfolio. business development.
