Priced at $30, the Belkin iPhone Mount for Mac Desktops joins Belkin’s existing line of continuous camera mounts available for Mac notebooks like the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. The mount is designed to mount on top of an iMac or external display, and then a compatible MagSafe iPhone can be placed on top of the MagSafe mount.

When docked on a Mac, the ‌iPhone‌ can be used as a webcam for FaceTime and other video apps. Both landscape and portrait modes are available, and the mount allows for all the functions of a continuous camera, including center stage and desktop.

The mount is listed as compatible with most external displays and monitors, and also works with a standard 1/4″ tripod screw.

Belkin’s ‌iPhone‌ Mount for Mac Desktops is listed on Apple’s online store, but it’s not yet available for purchase. It originally started shipping in late January, but is now listed as unavailable.
