That link contained a teaser comic in which APE founder Doc Gibbons approaches Jenkins the Valet for assistance on an important project. Now we know a lot more about what this project is about.
Yesterday, it was revealed that the Doctor is seeking Jenkins’ assistance in tracking down four other known Mega Mutants. As the unofficial storyteller of the metaverse and someone currently tracking his dog, Jenkins knows a little about this sort of thing. Jenkins will aid the Doctor in his quest to create an unstoppable force to combat the Simian Path – a dark cult that has arisen around the mega-mutation. tracking down other megas is mission critical, and we need your help,
The narrative will unfold using Jenkins and APE’s unique, cutting-edge, collaborative storytelling initiative.
Writers Room NFT Holders: Get ready for a puzzle.
You’ll be collaborating with puzzle creator Greg Pliska, the creative mind behind the original BAYC scavenger hunt puzzle quest, along with acclaimed comic writer Adam Felber, who also recently created the Applied Primate Apbot challenge. You’ll work together to create a new series of sweeping puzzle events. Collaboration will take place in the token-gated Writers Room Discord starting December 19th, with engagements and prompts to help drive creative direction.
For Writer’s Room holders new to puzzle making, you can tune in on Monday, 12/19 for a special workshop session with Greg where he’ll teach you all about the puzzle making process.
Both the APE and Jenkins teams look forward to seeing the creative spark ignite in the Writers Room. On the downside, the mass voting process will leverage the Tally Labs-owned Jenkins members portal to create a seamless, collaborative experience.
On January 11, 2023 the puzzle created by Jenkins the Valet Writer Room Holders will start in the APE Discord. To address this, both the Writer’s Room and APE Keycard NFT holders will be token-gated. The puzzles will feature interactive and live-action components similar to APE’s previously acclaimed puzzles. Previous example is their scavenger hunt during this year’s NFT.NYC (ended in Gold Mega Mutants Live Appears at Apefest) and Apebot Reactivation Puzzle which launched within Applied Primate Discord and was active in New York City, London, Singapore and Los Angeles. This four day was packed with narrative development, ARG elements and intense puzzle solving.
The two communities will work together to solve puzzles and help Jenkins and the Doctor track down some other Mega Mutants in their quest to stop the Simian Path led by Mega Gold and we hear Jenkins the Mutant too may involve?
The culmination of all this puzzle-making would lead to an announced piece of media involving Jenkins and APE lore, which would include awesome voting and licensing opportunities for Writers Room holders. jenkins recently released bored and dangerous Currently working on a long format fiction audio series, using this format, and is now a part of IP with APE.
