Apni Party took up the issue of Kashmiri prisoners with LG Manoj Sinha | Jobs Vox

Apni Party President Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari and Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir called on Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar on Thursday to discuss the issue of Kashmiri prisoners in JK and outside jails.

The Apni Party has set up two committees each headed by the presidents of the Valley and Jammu states to collect details about these prisoners and is seeking the release of the prisoners’ cases.

According to a press release issued here, “Apni met the party president and senior vice-president LG at the Raj Bhavan in Srinagar and asked him to take the necessary initiative to formally submit the list of detainees and investigate their cases for their release.”

“The leaders asked LG Sinha to investigate these cases on humanitarian grounds so that these youths get a chance to start a normal and peaceful life with their families.”
