This week, Apple released several important software updates to a variety of devices. Apple Watch now has two long-awaited features; Freeform has officially released a first-of-its-kind app that creates digital boards that multiple people (ideally teams) can contribute to on iPhone, iPad and Mac; The new Recognize My Voice feature lets Apple TV recognize up to six different voices, making it easier for different family members to switch profiles and use voice for more customized Hey Siri searches. On the non-Apple front, Sonos released an important software update and Tidal began testing a new DJ feature.

As we’re nearing the end of the year, there weren’t a ton of new gadgets released this week. But there were a few – here’s what you need to know.

The DJI Mini 3 Pro is a previously announced drone that has many of the same advanced flying and shooting capabilities as the company’s mid-range Mavic Air 2, but weighs 249 grams (no license required to fly). year. After more than half a year, DJI released a cheaper version.

The “non-Pro” DJI Mini 3 is essentially the same, but it lacks the same object avoidance sensors and is more difficult to fly. It also doesn’t support the same advanced shooting capabilities, one of which is ActiveTrack, which allows the drone to lock onto an object and keep it continuously in flight. On the bright side, the new DJI Mini 3 is $200 cheaper than the DJI Mini 3 Pro.
