The Local Government Council meeting was presided over by Local Government Secretary Syed Mubasher Hussain at the Civil Affairs Department on Tuesday. In this, 10 City Council employees were approved for promotion.
The officers promoted from grade 16-17 include Muhammad Naeem, Sidra Zafar, Ihtsham Malik, Ansar Mehmood Cheema, Sibtain Haider Bukhari, Naveed Ashraf, Syed Faraz Hussain Mehdi, Muhammad Shabbir, Waqas Hameed and Tariq Mahmood Sindhu. Officers promoted to the 17th Division belonged to the newly formed Administrative Functions Unit. They were promoted based on their satisfactory performance and years of service. During the meeting, 11 issues were discussed, including promotion of the rank of civil servants. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of City Council, Management staff, Legal and Finance Department staff. While congratulating the promoted officers, Secretary LG said that with the promotion, the responsibilities of the officers also increase. He urged the employees to work harder, be honest and serve the public sincerely.
